Constitutional Observer Training
Register for an upcoming training to learn what to do if you see ICE.
You will learn what to do if ICE detains you and how to respond if you see someone else being detained by ICE.
After this two-hour class you can choose whether to join our Active Response group, prepared to show up, deescalate, and document when ICE is spotted in our community.
For the safety of everyone, all registrants are vetted prior to being admitted to the training. Registrants will need to provide the name of someone who can vouch for you. We will contact them and registrants will only be given details about our meeting location after being cleared.
We take a non-violent, trained witnessing approach to documenting ICE. We will not train you to intervene. This is not a civil disobedience training.
Who We Are
We are a group of concerned citizens from Kalamazoo County. We organize to respond to ICE actions in our area and to the effects of this activity on communities that are targeted.
We are non-partisan and pro-Democracy. We are not involved directly in electoral politics yet understand that we are acting in a politically directed and charged environment.
We are not a non-profit. Everyone is a volunteer.
